NOVABLISS focus is Education for underprivileged students. Lack of education is cited as the main reason for the poor economic situation of Minorities in India. A good impact can only be achieved with systematic approach towards education.

Operations - How we work

Education Support / Sponsor A Child / Scholarship:

Referrals for our services are received either through online forms submitted from our website or from volunteers in the city / town / villages. On receipt of request for financial support, NOVABLISS assigns its members to volunteer for a survey based on details received.  Two volunteers will either visit the student’s house with a questionnaire or may call up suitable responsible person in the area to evaluate. Further, a second telephone call by the trustee will be made to determine student’s eligibility for support. The academic record of the student, family financial conditions etc. are among several key things that are taken into consideration. Priority is given to orphans and minority students.

Once the review is completed the case is forwarded to the finance team to arrange for the funds and payments are done to School directly. It’s a strict policy of not to hand over cash or cheque to the student or family.

Subsequent to the payment the operations team follows up on the child’s education progress and monitors the students future support requirements.

Mentoring:

Request for career guidance normally at undergraduate level is provided by our own team of experts. For Masters, PhD and specialization, support is taken from external resources. Request for Career / Education counseling are received through calls, emails received or online forms filled by students. Based on the requirements, one of the panel member will get in touch with the student for one to one counseling. We work towards building the expertise on mentoring by seeking volunteers interested in mentoring and providing career guidance to prospective students.

Skill Set Training

Novabliss conducts regular training programs for enhancement of soft skills which will help student in career advancement. The selection of the program is solely dependent on need based and our own research of what is critical for today’s students. Students can review the available training calendar in the Upcoming Events section. Also students can email their requirement for any training needs. The training programs are taken up based on available resources and students need.  The skill training schedules are updated regularly on the Upcoming Events section.

We charge nominal fees for training from students. The revenue generated is routed to Novabliss fund. In case students are unable to afford the training fees they can write to us for waiver of fees.
